Another week has already flown by, which means it’s time for me to post about the music I listened to and scrobbled to LastFM over the past week.
Let’s just dive right in to find out what my top tracks and top artists were for this week as I know that’s the stuff y’all are most interested in.
Total Tracks Scrobbled
Just like the previous five weeks of doing this, I set a personal record for more tracks listened to and scrobbled than the prior week and this week is no different. Except this week, the increase was quite dramatic compared to previous ones.
As you can see, I listened to 1,983 total tracks this past week. Last Week’s record was 1,533 which had only beaten the previous week by 17 tracks. This was a 450 track increase which is crazy as that’s a lot of music listened to during the course of seven days.
Top Artists Scrobbled
Nothing has changed when it comes to my top artist of the week that I’ve listened to. It remains Taylor Swift. I’m curious if and when I’ll ever see another artist at the top of this list. Also, the top five is very similar to past weeks with Linkin Park, Madonna, Rascal Flatts and John Michael Montgomery which I believe were actually the full top five just a couple of weeks ago.
You can see the full list of every artist I listened to this past week here: Full List Of Artists Played. Again, as you can see, there is a lot of diversity to what I listened to when it comes to my music.
Top Tracks Scrobbled
Now it’s time to dive into the top tracks of the week. Another week, another track that’s not been in the top five previously until this week is Higher by Creed. I’ll break down the top ten songs for the week below the image of the top five so you can quickly see what my top ten songs listened to during the past week were.
This weeks top tracks are considerably different from previous weeks.
- Higher by Creed
- Magic Man (Carl Version)(ft. Ann Wilson) by Dolly Parton
- I Won’t Let Go by Rascal Flatts
- Red by Taylor Swift
- Pictures by Lady A
- Borderline by Madonna
- Express Yourself (Non-Stop Express Mix) by Madonna
- Open Your Heart by Madonna
- My Wish by Rascal Flatts
- Stand by Rascal Flatts
It’s no surprise after seeing the list above that Madonna and Rascal Flatts are both in my top five artists of the week. They occupy five slots on the top ten tracks alone.
You can see the complete list of 1,983 tracks that I listened to and scrobbled for this past week of July 19th – July 25th here: Full List Of Tracks.
Genre Tag Cloud
Below is the genre tag cloud that I first added last week as I think it’s a pretty neat little way to quickly show what genres of music I’m listening to most. You can create your own tag cloud here: Tag Cloud Generator.

@Cliff So detailed! Mine mostly boils down to: "I listen to Lorelei and the Laser Eyes too much" 😂
Thank you! Hopefully you enjoyed it and I know the feeling. I often want to do the same but thought I’d try and be a bit more detailed if possible.
