Like many others, I too listen to music regularly and most of us are always wanting to discover new artists, new genres or whatever. I figured, I’d share what I’ve been listening to each week with all of you in hopes you find something new to listen to. Which brings us to week five of the What I Listened To post that I do each week. Since I scrobble everything I play from YouTube Music over to LastFM, it’s easy to see everything I listened to for this past week of July 12th – July 18th.
Let’s dive in and see what our top artists and top tracks were for this past week. I’m sure there will be some surprises, but also I’m sure some things will remained unchanged.
Total Tracks Scrobbled
Last week I had set another weekly record and listened to 1,516 tracks over the course of the week. This week, for the 5th week in a row, I listened to more tracks than the previous week with 1,533 total tracks listened to and scrobbled. This is certainly a continuing trend and I’m hoping it allows y’all to find new music in the form of new artists or even new genres.
Top Artists Scrobbled
As has been the case for the previous four weeks of this post, my top artist that I listened to this past week is once again the awesome, the amazing Taylor Swift. So the top five artists are all artists that have been in the top 5 at some point during the previous four weeks.
Nice to see that my top new artist this week is Thomas Rhett. Last week it was breakk.away which is an alternative band, and now this week it’s a country singer.
You can see the full list of every artist I listened to this past week here: Full List Of Artists Played. Again, as you can see, there is a lot of diversity to what I listened to when it comes to my music.
Top Tracks Scrobbled
Now let’s dive into the individual songs that I listened to over the course of the past week. Below is an image of my top ten songs I listened to and I’ll break them down in a list of the song and the artist to make it easier for each of you to find it via your favorite music player.
This weeks top tracks is pretty different compared to last weeks, so let me give you the list.

You can see the complete list of all 1,533 tracks that I played for the week of July 12th – July 18th here: Full List Of Tracks Played.
Genre Tag Cloud
Below is the genre tag cloud that I first added last week as I think it’s a pretty neat little way to quickly show what genres of music I’m listening to most. You can create your own tag cloud here: Tag Cloud Generator.
